Before the Tour de France and before Sir Bradley Wiggins, there was Arthur Linon from Aberdare, who took on the best and left behind not only the first drug scandal but the first racing bike: The Gladiator. The show is an inspiring, funny and uplifting drama set in modern day South Wales. The set was designed to refer to the area's industrial legacy while clearly situating the action in a domestic setting.
